JOB DESCRIPTION: SUPERINTENDENT RACE TRACK MAINTENANCE 

REFERENCE TO OUR JOB POSTING FO SUPERINTENDENT RACE TRACK MAINTENANCE.  

WAGE $4000/MONTHLY IF APPLICABLE EXPERIENCE.   

DESCRIPTION OF JOB:  

THIS IF FOR LIVE HORSE RACING TRACK MAINTENANCE.  THIS POSITION IS A VERY UNIQUE AS IT REQUIRES SKILL AND EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE AS IT RELATES TO MAINTAINING THE ACTUAL HORSE RACING RUNNING SURFACE.  IF THIS SURFACE IS NOT MAINTAIN CONSISTENTLY AND SAFE MANNER THE JOCKEY’S AND HORSE’S SAFETY IS IN EXTREME JEOPDARDY.  

REQUIREMENTS 

THE POSITION OF SUPERINTENDANT OF RACE TRACK MAINTENANCE REQUIRES A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS MAINTAINING A HORSE RACE TRACK.  

THE POSITION REQUIRES MAINTENANCE AS IT APPLIES TO THE SAFETY OF THE JOCKEYS AND HORSES SO AS THEY DO NOT INCURE AND SERIOUS ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES WHICH COULD RESULT IN CAREER ENDING SITUATIONS FOR BOTH THE JOCKEYS AND HORSES.   

-ABLE TO MAINTAIN AND OPERATE THE TRACTORS AND SPORT SPECIFIC GROOMING EQUIPMENT PERTAINENT TO THE RACE TRACK.    

-MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE THE WATER TRUCK WITH AND EXTENDED BOOM ON THE BACK, WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF WHEN NOT TO PUT TOO MUCH OR TOO LITTLE WATER ON THE RACE TRACK. (EG. TOO MUCH, RAIN, TOO HOT NOT ENOUGH MOISTURE, ETC. ) 

-KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO MAINTAIN THE TRACK IN ALL TYPES OF ADVERSE WEATHER CONDITIONS.   

-KNOWLEDGE OF HOW THE STARTING GATE WORKS AND BE ABLE TO MAINTAIN IT SO IT IS SAFE FOR THE JOCKEYS AND HORSES. 

-ALL ASPECTS OF THE RACE TRACK TO ENSURE SAFETY TO HORSES, JOCKEYS AND ALL OTHER PERSONAL AS IT RELATES TO RACING.

Job Description: Superintendent Race Track Maintenance 

Reference to our job posting fo SUPERINTENDENT RACE TRACK MAINTENANCE.  

Wage $4000/monthly if applicable experience.   

DESCRIPTION OF JOB:  

This if for live horse racing track maintenance.  This position is a very unique as it requires skill and extensive experience as it relates to maintaining the actual horse racing running surface.  If this surface is not maintain consistently and safe manner the jockey’s and horse’s safety is in extreme jeopdardy.  

REQUIREMENTS 

The Position of Superintendant of Race Track Maintenance requires a minimum of 2 years maintaining a horse race track.  

The position requires maintenance as it applies to the safety of the jockeys and horses so as they do not incure and serious accidents or injuries which could result in career ending situations for both the jockeys and horses.   

-Able to maintain and operate the tractors and sport specific grooming equipment pertainent to the race track.    

-Must be able to operate the water truck with and extended boom on the back, with the knowledge of when not to put too much or too little water on the race track. (Eg. Too much, rain, too hot not enough moisture, etc. ) 

-Knowledge of how to maintain the track in all types of adverse weather conditions.   

-Knowledge of how the starting gate works and be able to maintain it so it is safe for the jockeys and horses. 

-All aspects of the race track to ensure safety to horses, jockeys and all other personal as it relates to racing.
